British Council GREAT Scholarships Program 2023-2024 in the United Kingdom is a collaboration between the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council, with UK higher education institutions participating. The British Council and partner universities launched the GREAT Scholarships 2023 programme in the United Kingdom, which provides financial assistance to students from Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Nepal, and Singapore. Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey, Vietnam, and other countries will be able to take advantage of world-class UK higher education opportunities.
The GREAT Scholarship 2023-24 in the United Kingdom provides an opportunity for every bright student to advance their career by receiving quality educational opportunities and developing professional skills throughout their time in the programme. Students who are chosen will receive a minimum of $10,000 in tuition assistance. The Great Scholarship Program participants will be invited to a welcome event in the first semester and a networking event in the second semester. GREAT Scholarships provides scholarships from UK universities in a variety of fields to students from 18 countries, allowing them to pursue higher education.

Eligibility Criteria for Great Scholarships
To qualify for Great Scholarships, candidate must fulfill all of the following requirements below:
- Required Language(s): English
- Eligible Countries: Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand
- Have an undergraduate degree, be motivated, have an interest in the proposed subject area
- Meet the English language requirement of the UK HEI
- Establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar, through personal and academic fulfilment
- Be willing to attend a networking event of all UK based GREAT scholars, to discuss experiences and capture perceptions of studying in the UK
- Be willing to maintain contact with the British Council and their HEI and act as an ambassador for the GREAT Scholarships
- As an alumnus of the GREAT Scholarships, be willing occasionally to speak to potential candidates about his or her own experience of studying in the UK
